The Greatest Lesson Of All

Last night I watched a video on CNN  that really touched my heart. It is about a high school teacher who has brain cancer. He no longer teaches, but decided to spend his remaining time by visiting with his former students. His message is that besides trying to be the best at what you do on a professional level,  it is also important to connect with your students on a more personal level by showing interest in their lives, incouraging them, celebrating their achievements and victories. Many of us strive to be just that kind of teacher, who hopefully will be remembered as caring and kind.
